Alice Kings is a collective of young independent, predominatley Indigenous MC’s from Mparntwe / Alice Springs. They range from 8 to 13 years old and rap about things they know and kids can relate to, like video games, super heroes, sports, their culture and growing up in Alice. They released their first single “Black N Deadly” in September 2024 and were invited to perform it alongside First Nations Supergroup 3% at the height of the Children’s Ground Apmerenge-ntyele: “From the Land” Festival, this was a defining moment for the crew. They have an incredible stage presence and have also performed at Wide Open Spaces, Alice Desert Festival, and most venues in Alice Springs. They are really passionate about Hip Hop, they have sleepovers on the weekends where they write, record, make beats and work on new songs. In 2025, they saved up all their gig money and bought tickets to see Kendrick Lamar in Sydney! They dropped their first full length album ‘Young Prodigies’ in November 2025, and rolled it out with a National tour that coincided with the Kendrick concert. They received incredible feedback all along the way, whether it was a youth centre or a pub or other live music venue, they truly make Hip Hop that people of all ages can enjoy!
Alice Kings are next up so keep an eye out. Follow them on:
